Hello! My name is Launa Stout, and I am the editor of the BellaOnline Holiday and Seasonal Cooking website. As one who loves to bake and cook, nothing could be more fun than creating and sampling recipes that celebrate the holidays! After all, what is a celebration without food, family and fun?

I want share my own holiday recipe collections for traditional favorites such as Christmas cookies and Thanksgiving pies and a wide assortment of recipes from a variety of ethnic holidays. I hope that you will try these and share your family favorites as well. We will also explore some fun and innovative ideas and experiment with some new twists on some of the recipes passed down from my mother and grandmothers.

Recipes that use seasonal ingredients by states, areas and countries will be shared. Expect some fun recipes from a variety of food festivals and county fairs. As I currently reside in California I have access to the largest variety of fresh produce imaginable. However, I have lived in 25 different addresses in my 40+ years of marriage so am fairly well versed in holiday and seasonal recipes that might be found United States, Canada and Europe.
