About the BellaOnline Astronomy Editor

Astronomy
Look up! The night sky is beautiful and fascinating. I hope you will join me in finding out what we can see in the night sky, learning the stories of the stars and the stories of the people who have studied them, as well as looking at amazing new discoveries. Some of the articles are aimed at younger readers, but anyone might find them useful.

My qualifications for helping you in these cosmic encounters are an M.Sc. in astronomy from Swinburne University of Technology (in Australia) and a Diploma in Astronomy from University College London. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. But I realise that whether absolute beginners or old hands, we all have something to teach each other.

To get updates on new articles, news events and observing hints, you can subscribe to my email newsletter below.

And there are hundreds of astronomy pictures (with explanations) on my Astrobella Pinterest boards
