First off, it is a great, easy way to see whenever there is a new article or movie review up on the site, or if there is any other relevant news or information, for instance a quiz or a new topic being raised in the forums.

Once that has been confirmed, you will receive our free newsletter every week.

The newsletter is completely free and without commitment - you can unsubscribe at any time, by following a link in any of the newsletters. Your email address will remain completely confidential - neither I nor anyone else will ever see it. Your address will not be sold to any other company, so you won't get any spam from anyone as a result of signing up.

The sort of things you can expect to find include links to new articles, which typically will be:

-Thoughts and musing about different aspects of fantasy and science fiction genres.
-Movie reviews (both new and classic).
-Analysis of characters and tropes of note within the genres.
-News and views about upcoming movies.

If you are interested, you can find a bit more about me in my bio, but the things you should know are that I have been an avid fan of science fiction and fantasy (movies, books, comics) since pretty much before I could walk. Opinions vary, of course, so while I can't promise that you'll agree with my viewpoints, I can promise you that I will almost always be writing from a place of passionate interest in the genres. I am also a science fiction, fantasy, and horror author, and also a medical doctor, so I will probably write articles that are especially interested in book adaptations, and medical and scientific aspects to be found in science fiction and fantasy films.
