Abraham Lincoln was one of the driving forces behind the formation of the Republican Party. It evolved from the Whig Party because they would not take a stance against slavery. Since then, the Republican Party has been the driving force behind many of the positive changes that have happened in this country. We do that by trying to adhere to the principles set forth in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers.

As you probably know, our Constitutional Rights are slowly being chipped away. Unfortunately, some Republicans have gone along with that. One of the reasons I wanted to become a writer is to point out areas where our rights are diminishing, and who is responsible. Don’t worry, I am not a conspiracy theory nut.

With this free Newsletter, I will update you on current articles I have written. These articles will discuss topics of interest to Conservatives and other Conservative minded individuals. Many of them are meant to explode the myths about Republicans that are prevalent in the media, like the so-called “War on Women”.

Bellaonline readers are primarily women and I write with that in mind. By that I mean that there is no sense publishing an article unless my wife understands it. My wife is highly intelligent but she has little interest in things political. For example, she knows that George Bush was president but she wouldn’t know if George H. W. or George W. was president on 9/11. So I try not to get to far “down into the weeds” when discussing politics. I may discuss a Supreme Court decision but I won’t dive into the intricacies of the law behind it. That would be over my head anyway!
