My name is Georgina Vanezis and I am the new Editor of the Greek Food site on Bellaonline.com

My newsletter, which I will email to you every Friday, will include a link to my weekly article on the site.

My aim is to create a greater interest in Greek food and introduce you to a wider variety of Greek and Greek Cypriot recipes and produce, as well as explain a bit about Greek customs and culture.

I am very family orientated and, for me, sharing food is one way that brings a family together. Eating meals around the dining table, for me, is important. A family that eats together, stays together. It strengthens ties, improves communication and helps towards creating stronger communities.

My interest in cooking was ignited by my late Mother and Grandmother and their memory lives on in the food that I cook.

Most of the recipes can be adjusted to suit your needs and taste and any suggestions you may want to share are welcomed.
