+ Take care of yourself. Drink plenty of water during the day. Water heals the cells and organs in your body.
+ Eat healthy food that makes you feel good. Eat at regular intervals and avoid long periods of time without eating. This will help you to avoid low blood sugar levels, which can cause anxiety.
+ Avoid food that contains high levels of fat and grease. This type of food contains chemicals that cause anxiety in the body.
+ Avoid wheat flour. Most people are allergic to wheat flour and don't realize or understand this. Medical studies have shown that ingesting wheat flour can cause anxiety, panic, depression and illness.
+ Avoid caffeine, which creates a stress response in the body, and increases anxious feelings. It is helpful to avoid caffeine or have it in moderation if you are someone that may experience anxiety.
+ Avoid drugs and alcohol. They are chemicals that cause stress in your mind and body. This leads to feelings of anxiety, depression and exhaustion. It is healthy to avoid chemicals.
+ Sleep is important. Take care of sleep. Take a nap to refresh your mind and body. Establish healthy sleep habits so that you can feel healthy. Sleep as much as you need to feel better. Sleep relieves anxiety. Sleep is healing to your mind, body and emotions.
+ Write down your thoughts and feelings in a journal. Think of what you can do to improve a situation that is worrying you, and write it all down. Writing helps you to find solutions and lets you relax.
+ Positive action heals anxiety. Have faith and do something positive.
+ Exercise relieves stress. Exercise releases endorphins into your blood stream that help you to feel good. Exercise can help you to see the positive and a healthy perspective.
+ Breathe and release negativity.
+ Place positive thoughts in your mind. Be positive with yourself and others. Positive thoughts create good feelings and health.
+ Help someone. This will make you both feel good.
+ Spend time with a friend. Friendship is healing to the mind, body and spirit.
+ Talk things over with a friend. Talking with a friend and listening to the good things they tell you, can help you to see the positive.
+ Talk with your doctor about anxiety and any health problems you may have. Sometimes just knowing that you have talked with your doctor will let you feel relieved, because you will know that you are caring for this problem. A doctor can offer you help and guidance for dealing with anxiety and other health conditions.
+ Remember that occasional feelings of anxiety are normal. If you are experiencing anxiety you are not alone. This is something we all deal with. Reading and learning as much as you can about how to heal anxiety, will help you to feel better.
