Thank you for your interest in the Bereavement newsletter. My hope is that this newsletter and the Bereavement site offers support and compassion and addresses the questions you have around death and grief.
As editor my aim is to help people realise that there is no wrong way to grieve. We work through the stages of grief in our own way and time. People get so caught up in right and wrong they donĀ“t give themselves time, and this is often made worse by friends and family who, while wanting the best for their loved one, inadvertently increase the feeling of hopelessness and pressure to move forward.
I speak from the experience of having lost my husband at age 52 after a short fight with Leukaemia and then my mother just on a year later. I also work in the Aged Care field and have done for over 20 years, so as well as a mother, a daughter and a widow, I also bring experience from a health care point of view.
I will be adding articles to the site regularly covering a wide range of subjects around bereavement but also about grief of other kinds. To make sure you don't miss any of it, sign up for our weekly newsletter! BellaOnline doesn't share or sell personal information, and we promise not to spam you
Signing up is quick and easy: all you have to do is put your email address in the "Free Newsletter" box to your right and click the arrow. We will then send you an email and all you have to do is verify your email address.
NOTE: If you do not see your test email within an hour, please check your spam folder and be sure that bereavement@bellaonline.com is in your address book.
While you wait for your newsletter, be sure to check out our forums, where you can ask questions, share, or just read what others have posted.
For so many people death is a subject to be avoided, but while it is a sad, extremely difficult time in our lives, it is also a part of living and I hope that together we can give comfort and support in a stressful time of your life.
