Teaching LDS
I am thrilled to be your editor for Teaching LDS. One of my favorite things to do in life is to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to others, especially my own family. I have a great love for my Savior, Jesus Christ and His gospel.

Now, a little about me:

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I served a full-time church mission to the Spain Seville Mission, now the Spain Malaga Mission. I have served in many different leadership positions throughout my life and have taught many different classes within the church, from nursery age (18 months to 3 years), to adult classes in Relief Society and the Gospel Essential Class and the Gospel Doctrine class in the Sunday School. I have written several special programs for the different wards I have been a part of during my life.

I have been very active in the Young Women’s program as well as the Primary and have served in various positions within those organizations. I have been working in the Primary for the past seven years. I have served as a Counselor and have done several sharing time presentations as well as worked with the teachers to help them make the connections that they need to with the children. I am currently serving as the Gospel Doctrine teacher AND the Relief Society Secretary.

When I am not here at Teaching LDS, you will most likely find me online at Successful Gardens, where I a write about gardening, along with my husband, who has a degree in horticulture. I also blog several times a week at Quiet Pandemonium, about my faith, family life, new recipes and product reviews. I have a few special projects that I will be launching this year, so I will try to remember to update things here as they come to fruition.

I have been married to a wonderful man for the past 23 years and we have one son who is currently serving a Young Church-Service mission in the local Seminary and Institute program. He is our miracle baby and we love him to pieces. He is also very bright and has a deep and gentle, caring spirit. He is in the Autism spectrum, but many people do not realize it as he has been able to work through and overcome many of his challenges.

I am looking forward to providing ideas and inspiration to you as you strive to teach the gospel in the church and in your families. If you have any special requests for content, please feel free to e-mail me and I will see what I can do to meet your needs and desires. Together, we will find ways to invite and utilize the spirit in all of our teaching experiences.
