About the BellaOnline Romance Novels Editor

Welcome to the Romance Novels site. Curious about my background? I have been publishing since 2010. My nonfiction consists of the HOW TO WRITE series for fiction and nonfiction writers. My fiction is gay romance not intended for readers younger than age eighteen. I like humor, strong plots, vivid cultural details, and complicated characters and hope to offer you the same. (If you´re curious, you can download a free sample of my fiction through this link to Goodreads.com. Titled This Is Yours, it is a short story with gay themes and no sex scenes.)
For four years, I was one of five paid reviewers for the All Romance Ebooks newsletter until the reviewing program was discontinued. I was the reviewer for the gay romance category. Currently I am the editor of the Fiction Writing topic at BellaOnline.com where I publish weekly articles, a newsletter, and forum advice on how to write fiction. As of May 2014, I am also the editor of the Romance Novels site.
If you´d like a review, you don’t need to email first to arrange it with me. Just go ahead and send a .mobi or PDF copy of your book to romancereviewrequests at gmail dot com. I look at every romance novel I receive. If it is a good fit for this site, I review it. If not, I delete it to alleviate any concern about illegal file-sharing. Due to the flood of emails I receive, I cannot acknowledge receiving your book. Please subscribe to the site RSS feed to see when reviews appear.
I review MF romances between male and female characters, and LGBT romances -- that is, romances with lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered characters. This page offers a more in-depth explanation of my review policy.
