Hi, and welcome to Bellaonline.com and the Hunting page. I am the editor, MaryBeth Crabb. I hope you enjoy your stay!
In the mid-1990’s I married into a hunting family and unknowingly an entire community, and I have never been the same! I have learned to love the calm and serenity of the world at first light and the anticipation of what the next hunt will bring. It is not about the final kill for me, but about the lessons I learn to get me there.
I am passionate about the outdoors and protecting the great sport of hunting.
Born and raised in Colorado, I spent many summers immersed in all the nature the National Parks had to offer. Small game hunting started with squirrels and a sling shot and grew from there.
Currently residing in Kansas, I have some of the United States greatest upland bird and game resources outside my back door. Giving me access to hunting and other outdoor sports all year round.
While I have experience with most hunting equipment, my current weapons of choice are my crossbow and my digital camera.
In this column, I will offer anecdotes of growing up and marrying into the hunting community, feature current tips and techniques of the sport, highlight new products, educate and alert about current legislation, share recipes and chronicle my own miss-adventures.
