Hello. I am pleased to have been selected as your new Florida editor. Although not a native Floridian, I have lived and worked in central Florida for the past 36 years. Now I am retired and enjoy visiting interesting places in my adopted state. Mostly I enjoy touring natural, cultural, and historic sites, so these will be the focus of my articles.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in technical writing from the University of South Florida, but I also enjoy creative writing, especially poetry. I love to write haikus! However, my husband Terry (who is also retired) and I enjoy traveling in our motorhome, The Gypsy Wagon, and camping at state and national parks. Most of my writing now is about these places we have traveled to.

One of our hobbies is geocaching, which fits in well with our wanderlust. This activity has led us to some interesting places, so I may refer to it occasionally in my articles. If you would like to learn more about geocaching, here is a link to a site you may enjoy exploring:
