This was a perfectly serviceable live-action tribute to the works of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss that started an idea. A terrible, awful idea: copy-and-paste, pop-culture laden ransackings of childhood memories. But we can at least sit here and enjoy its sire, which is actually entertaining.
The Muppet Christmas Carol Movie Review
How do you take a classic Christmas tale that has some really screwed up imagery which we keep telling to our children and make it overly kid-friendly? You add the greatest comedy troupe in the world. Not the Monty Python. Not Broken Lizard. You add in Jim Henson’s Muppets. And they slay it.
