When Wiccans think of the Wiccan Rede, we tend to remember the eight-word phrase that expresses the moral core of our faith, An it harm none, do as ye will. However, there is a longer poem that quotes this as its final line. The poem has had a significant influence on Wiccan culture. Here it is.

The Wiccan Threefold Law states that the good or evil actions that you send into the universe will return to you threefold. This uniquely Wiccan concept of cause and effect is taught to new Wiccans especially in the context of casting spells.
