If you thought that Wendy and the Lost Boys were the first human to meet Tinker Bell, you’ll find that she met a nine-year old girl named Lizzy years before. In Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, Lizzy Griffins (Lauren Mote), living in the beautiful English countryside with her father, holds fast to her belief in the power of magical pixie dust and fairies. It is with Tinker Bell’s (Mae Whitman) all-familiar curiosity that she finds herself trapped in Lizzy’s small fairy house built to catch a fairy. With the colliding of their two worlds, Tink and Lizzy begin to form a special bond, finally giving Lizzy a friend.

However, things don’t stay completely warm and fuzzy, when Lizzy’s father discovers Tinker Bell in his daughter’s room; his scientific mind goes to work, planning to take Tinker Bell to the museum to be studied. Unfortunately, in an effort to help free Tink, Vidia (Pamela Adlon), Tinker Bell’s rival, is caught instead. Now, it’s up to Tinker Bell and her fellow fairies (Raven-Symoné, Lucy Liu, Kristin Chenoweth, and Angela Bartys) to launch a daring rescue to save her, putting not only her own safety, but also the future of all fairykind in jeopardy.

Produced by DisneyToon Studios, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is an all-new, original full-length CG animated. With breathtaking animations, this enchanting and exhilarating adventure is definitely suited for the entire family. I was totally amazed with how vivid the colors were. I’ve always enjoyed the Tinker Bell movies and this is no exception.
